Good Morning Everyone!
Another warm day today,
but the corn is lovin it and is growing by leaps and bounds! Yaaaa for the farmers!!!!!
I have been working on 3 different projects since I last posted. 2 are ones that I have been working on and 1 is a new start. Really need to control myself when it comes to new starts and get some finishes in first. (that probably won't happen)
Here is my progress on The Upstairs Sewing Room
And here is my progress on July Word Play
Couldn't get it to turn the right direction but it's a good picture of my work!
My new start is a towel for my kitchen. I have a towel bar on my refrigerator and that is where I hang the towels that I stitch. Here is a picture of a few of my stitched towels. I have a couple for Valentines Day, St Patricks Day and one for Easter that I have put away.
I have quite a few Christmas ones but they are packed away with the Christmas stuff.
Well here is my new start -
I don't have any fall towels so when I saw this book at Hobby Lobby on Thursday I had to have it! We will see how many I get done! It feels funny stitching on the towels as most of them are 14 count and it has been a long time since I have used 14 ct. Its a lot easier on the eyes!
I am going to leave you with a couple pictures of my grand kids
4th of July swimming pool party
My grandson and his dog Buddy
Well I am off to get my dishes and some never ending laundry done
Have great weekend everyone!
Happy Stitching
Denise

I love your stitched towels! I'm working on towels as well for Xmas gifts, but I am going to add pieces of stitched aida to my towels instead - it is cheaper for me that way:)
The sewing room looks so sweet - look forward to following your progress:)

I think we all wish we had more stitching time! You've got 3 great and different projects on the go!
Your Stitching is just beautiful....I love your Towels. I have done a few towels in the past before. They are fun to do though.
Your Grandkids are so darling - it looks like they had fun at Grandmas house.
Happy Stitching
