Way over due post!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!
Oh my goodness where did the last couple of weeks go?
Nothing exciting has been going on here. Just the same as always - cleaning, laundry, mowing & dieting. Then get up the next day and do it all over again. I have worked on my family history several days, found some interesting stuff and hit some road blocks, but love looking and putting pieces of the past together.

Last weekend my future daughter in law had a bridal shower and she got a lot of nice gifts. This week end is her bachelorette party. I plan to go for the beginning of the evening (supper and drinks) and when the girls take off in the party bus I will be going home and let them party the night away. ( This 50 some year old can not keep up with a bunch of 25 year old's any more).

I have only been working on one project since my last post and that is:
Home of a Needleworker

In my last post I only had the blue in the house done. I am still counting my stitches as I go, so here is the stats so far.
Just the blue in the house had 882 stitches in it.
And as of last night I had completed 3758 stitches on this piece so far.

I don't know how much stitching I will get done today because I have been wanting to do some quilting. So after I get off this computer I will be heading to my craft room and working on some quilt blocks. I have not worked on quilt blocks for quite some time.

Well that is about it for now.
Happy Stitching
Denise

Hi Denise!
I too am working on the same piece, but haven't gotten quite as much done. Only eight hours into it right now, but I am really enjoying the stitch.
Isn't is amazing how fast the time does fly? We went up to NH for my sons wedding on the 18th. of May. A beautiful wedding. On the way back to NC, we were involved in a four car accident. I'm still healing, but God is so good. Never left us through the whole thing.
I love stopping in here. Your family is beautiful.

Just keep plowing away at your stitching Denise and it will be done before you know it.
Enjoy the bridal shower party.

Lovely stitching - this is such a pretty design! I would love to get back to quilting, unfortunately, I get so caught up in making all of the points and corners meet that it just ends up being a tense time. :) Looking forward to seeing your blocks!

Counting the number of stitches you have already put in.. you have made a lot of progress, Denise!
This is a beautiful piece.

Have fun with the girls. What an exciting time to have a wedding in the family.

Beautiful progress! The colors on this piece are gorgeous.

What website/software are you using for your family history? I used Ancestry.com a few years ago, but I hit major road blocks. I've been thinking of starting up again.
