My daughter and I just got back from our weekend at Lake Shetek with about 35 other women. what a blast we had. We call it a Stitching Retreat but really it is a Creative Retreat. Some of us Cross Stitch, some Quilt and some scrapbook and stampin. There is lots of laughing, socializing, snacking and stitching. Here are a few pictures that I took.
Jill working on a quilt |
Jill working on her second quilt of the weekend |
my work space for the weekend |
some sit in peace and think and enjoy the beauty. |
Mother teaching daughter to crochet |
and just sitting and stitching |
Well that is about it for now and now its time to get ready for work
Happy Stitching
Denise

Congratulations on your finishes, especially the We Three Kings. I bet it looks amazing in person!
And that sounds like a wonderful retreat. It is great that you can share it with your daughter. I love going to the Creativ Festival with my mom. It is so nice to share creative outings with family.
Congrats on the gorgeous finishes Denise. Your retreat looks like fun. Wish I could go to one.
