TUSAL, Updates & a Give Away

First up since my last update is that I have been working on a baby bib for my great niece that is due the middle of March. Nothing fancy but just something with the little ones name on it. The center A square is finished and outlined and there will be an A in the last square that is empty at the moment. I have not decided it I will stitch something on top of the name or just leave it, but at this point I think it needs something?

I have added a few more stitches to Metamorphosis. This one is almost half done.

My TUSAL for February. The tall vase is holding January's orts and I will continue to add to this tall vase thought out the year.

And the following picture is my first try at finishing a flat ornament. The green is not glued down yet because I didn't have a ribbon that I liked to put on it between the red and green layers. And I think I will cut another green piece of felt and make it a little bigger. But this is easier than I thought it would be, thanks to Vonna's Tutorials on her blog The Twisted Stitcher. She does a great job explaining the process. ( I still need more practice )

.

And as you can see on the right side of my blog it shows that in 14 days is my 1 year Blogoversary and I have decided to have a give away on March 6. I have already started putting some things together for it. My only rule is to be a follower and comment  on this post only. Good Luck to everyone.

Time to get off the computer and get some stitching done
Happy Stitching
Denise

Congrats on the forthcoming blogaversary. Count me in for the draw please.
I love your ornament, I'm a big fan of the no-sew finish!
Baby niece has an unusual name, how is it pronounced? I've seen Maya before pronounced either May-A or My-yah

Hi Denise,

Congratulations for your first blogaversary.

I found your blog by chance and now I'm a new follower.

Your Orni looks great but I think too it's a good idea cutting a bigger piece of green felt.

I'd like to be entered in your giveaway. Thanks for the chance.

Have a nice day. xoxo
