The last line that I have to stitch on this piece is
Forever in my Heart.
I should have it completed sometime today, I already have the frame for it, so a finish is in sight.
Thursday my sister, niece & great niece went to Pella, Iowa to visit my other niece and to attend the Tulip Festival. But the tulips had already bloomed and so we didn't get to see very many flowers this year. But we had a great time spending time together and spoiling the baby. The following pictures are from our weekend together and some are from the parade that we watched on Saturday.

Uncle Nate talking to Amaya |
My niece Chrissy, my sister Darla, my niece Courtney and her daughter Amaya. |
The following pictures are from the parade.
at the beginning of the parade they had the cleaning of the street |
this little guy even had a pipe in his mouth |
they had a group called parade of babies |
Tulip Queen |
Mayor |
costumes of the different counties |

this float was from the place that my niece Chrissy works at. |
Well these are only a few of the pictures that I took from our weekend in Pella. The time there went way too fast. I got back home on Sunday evening so Monday was spent cleaning and catching up on laundry and today I need to go and stock up on groceries.
Hope everyone has a great week!
Happy Stitching
Denise

Lovely photos, Denise. Glad you had some time with family. And, if I remember right, Amaya means Night Rain in Japanese. Pretty name!
