A Finish, New Stash,& Calves (picture heavy)

Good morning everyone! Spring still has not come to us here in SD. We still have snow on the ground, not much but some and guess what? Yep 3-6 inches is on its way later this morning, some of SD is already getting it now.

I have another finish too show you!
Poinsettia House by LHN
28ct Lt Examplair Linen
Called for Crescent Colours
Started 11/24/12
Finished 4/19/13
After I finished this piece I pulled out Blooming with Inspiration by BRD, this is the WIP that I was suppose to work on this month. Here is a picture of my progress as of last night.
I am working this one on 40ct Wisteria hand dyed fabric and using the recommended WDW.

I also enhanced my stash this past week, I went a little crazy and ordered from 123 Stitch. Here is what I purchased.

Can't wait to start this one!

I need these like I need a hole in my head , I know I know. Into my stash they go.

In my last post I mentioned that we have calves being born and Catherine wanted me to post some pictures of our new born calves  so here are a couple of pictures I took of them.

Last but not least we had a small get together at the shop this past weekend. My SIL fried up some mountain oysters and deer chislic. He did an awesome job!

Me and my oldest grand son Trey

Brotherly Love
My grandson's Trey & Gavin.
Well its time to get some house work done so I can sit for a few hours this afternoon and stitch.
I hope everyone has a great week!

Happy Stitching
Denise

Your Poinsettia House and sampler are beautiful. Enjoy your recent purchase. We, in Saskatchewan, still have snow on the ground as well - there's 2 feet of it in our back yard yet. Enjoyed your photos. Have fun stitching.

Your poinsettia house finish is gorgeous and our sampler is stunning. I can't wait to see you finish. I love your stash and Moonlight Visitor is my next start later this week. I'm just finishing up Pink Hill Manor this week.
The calves are really cute but your grandchildren are cuter. Lol

Your finishes are really pretty :) Love what you bought to enhance your stash. Glad you will have some time to stitch this evening.

Thanks for sharing your pictures and I hope that the snow does not stay around to long

Love the Poinsettia house! And all your new stash looks very manageable. At least they aren't HUGE projects! So see, it could be worse! Hope all your snow is gone and not getting anymore. I know that MN is getting hit pretty hard this spring. Cute calves, but cuter grands!!!

Congrats on your finish! It looks great. :D I have stash envy now, but I DO NOT need it. Online shopping + me = dangerous!

I love your weather report : ) I lived in North Dakota for 8 years & really miss it. Your finish looks great, & so does your WIP & new stash additions! The baby cows look so cute, but not as cute as your grandsons : ) Enjoy the snow! I wish I was there to enjoy it with you : )
