Update and New Start

Good Morning Everyone!
Lots to update you on,
Last week was a week of medical stuff and not for me this time.
First my grandson broke his nose and had to have surgery to fix it.
He got hit by a golf ball, poor kid. But he is doing good and is healing fast.

Our next medical situation was that my husband had to have surgery for a hernia.
It was a same day surgery and he is also doing fine but is not allowed to do any heavy lifting yet.

The same day of the surgery my daughter sent me a picture of our granddaughter, she had been playing out side the night before and got bitten up by bugs and her eyes were swollen shut. A little bit of benadryl  and ice packs and she back to normal.
So things happen in 3's so we should be good for a while now.

So on to some stitching stuff.
Here is the material I found to finish this pin keep with, what do you think?

More progress on Prairie Garden

And a new start
This is a piece that I am doing for my niece's new little man, Zachary.
This piece is called Woodland Folks by Lee Holland and DMC.
This is what it will look like when completed
I will be putting some clouds above the animal and stitching his name and birth date on it to make it a birth sampler. Aren't those little animals just the cutest things.

On Sunday we had a family reunion at the park, and we celebrated a couple of miles stone also.
First was my aunt and uncles 50th wedding anniversary

And my mom's cousin's 80th birthday

The highlight of the afternoon was when my twin brother took another one of the cousins for a ride on his Harley. She was so excited and loved it.

Well that is all I have for you today!
Time to get some work done.
Happy Stitching
Denise
