Snicker Salad

I have had a few comments and emails from my last post about what is
Snicker Salad?

It is one of my families favorite salads and there are several different recipes out there to make it but this is the one that I use.

Snicker Salad
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (12 oz) container of Cool Whip, thawed
6 snicker candy bars
4-6 granny smith apples

Mix cream cheese & powdered sugar until thoroughly blended.
Fold in  Cool Whip.
Cut snickers into bite size chunks and a to cream cheese mixture.
Chop the apples into chunks and stir.
Chill 1 hour before serving.

Enjoy!!!!!

I have been stitching up a storm this weekend. I work on Abigails birth sampler and started putting some backstitching on it to make it look more pronounced. And I started another LHN piece called Poinsettia House. I have about 570 stitches into the house so far. No pictures for this post but will have some snaps on the next post.

Back to stitching for me
Hope everyone is having a great weekend
Until next time
Happy Stitching
Denise
